HRH Duchess of Sussex Is The Guest Editor British Vogue September Issue

The Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful, made an offer to the Duchess of Sussex to be on the cover of British Vogue. He revealed that Megan chose not to.

"From the very beginning, we talked about the cover- whether she would be on it or not. In the end, she felt that it would be in some ways a "boastful" thing to do. She wanted instead to focus on women she admires."

The duchess has been working on this issue named "Forces for Change" for seven months. It features fifteen women on the cover and an interview with the former first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama. A spot on the cover features a mirrored panel to represent one more individual... you.

"Guest Editing the September issue of British Vogue has been rewarding, educational and inspiring. To deep dive into this process, working quietly behind the scenes for so many months, I am happy to now be able to share what we have created. A huge thanks to all of the friends who supported me in this endeavor, lending their time and energy to help within these pages and the cover. Thank you for saying "Yes!"- and to Edward, thank you for this wonderful opportunity. "
