According to Sky News, Google has restricted future business with Huawei by cutting off access to its Android operating system and other Google support apps like Gmail, YouTube and Chrome after the Trump administration escalated a crackdown on the Chinese tech firm. The US Commerce Department said it had initiated the crackdown because Huawei “is engaged in activities that are contrary to United States’ national security or foreign policy interest.” The Department of Justice has also accused it of violating Iran sanctions. Google’s suspension, first reported by Reuters , amounts to a major blow to Huawei who will no longer receive access and support for Google’s proprietary apps. The Federal Government of Nigeria has increased has increased the monthly allowance given to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in Nigeria to N30,000. Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, the minister of finance, disclosed this on Thursday in a press conference. Although they haven't concluded the process of paying the new allowance, she maintained that NYSC members were supposed to be paid the country's minimum wage. "There is an increase for the NYSC as well because NYSC, by its Act, is designed that they earn the minimum wage." She continued,"So NYSC allowance also has to increase to 30,000. So I cannot give projections right now because the negotiations are not yet concluded." Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Merritt said a 46-year-old woman called 911 reporting that her newborn baby was in distress. The picture was taken as the Superstar was exiting a hotel lobby carrying a bag that read "Sweetener". The picture was shared on Grande's official Instagram page on the 17th day of August, the same day her sweetener album was released with the caption 'Happy Sweetener day'.
