Royal Baby is Here!! Duke and Duchess Welcome Their First Child And It's A Boy!

Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who wedded on 19th May 2018, almost a year ago, has welcomed their first child, a son, at the early hours of today, 6th May 2019. An announcement was made in their official Instagram page this morning.

Buckingham Palace confirmed Megan gave birth to a baby boy at 5.26am weighing 7lbs 3oz with Harry by the side of Megan during the birth. Megan's mum, Doria Ragland, is with the couple at Frogmore Cottage.

A framed birth notice has gone on display on a ceremonial easel on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace following the birth of the royal baby. Per tradition,  it will stay for 24hrs before being sent to privy council.

Prince Harry, who is a first time dad was overjoyed as he stood for the interview with Alan Jones, the P.A reporter given the opportunity to interview him.

He said
"Megan and myself had a baby boy early this morning. A healthy baby boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. Its been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension.  But we are both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support we have there. For everybody out there, its been amazing."

"I haven't been at many births. This is definitely my first birth - it was amazing, absolutely incredible. I'm so incredibly proud of my wife. And as every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing. But this little thing is absolutely to-die-for so I'm absolutely over the moon."

Prince Harry revealed that he'll be introducing us to his bouncing baby boy on Wednesday. The beaming new dad told reporters that he and his wife planned to introduce fans to his new baby in two days.

Prince Harry also said his family will be out on wednesday to be seen by all.

Congratulations!!!
