Bettie Jenifer Shot Dead in the US

The 44 year old Caribbean woman based in the US, who got married to Ghanaian Actor Chris Attoh in October 2018 was shot in the head at a parking lot of a Maryland Office building on Friday 10th May 2019.

She left the office in the 6300 block of Ivy Lane and was walking to her car when a gunman approached her. As reported by Green belt Police Department, She ran for her dear life and the armed man chased her and shot at her multiple times. She was hit by the bullets and died on the spot of the incident. Police identified the culprit as a thin black man with black hair in a black attire who fled in a blue car. Police are still conducting their investigation to nail the culprit.

Chris Attoh married Bettie Jenifer in Ghana, 13 months after his divorce with his first wife Damilola Adegbite, a Nigerian actress with whom he has a son.

Investigation by the police revealed that Bettie was still married to a drug lord Kedrick Jenifer, 47, upon her marriage to Chris Attoh. Kedrick is serving a 20years prison sentence for importing large amounts of cocaine into Baltimore from Texas.
The US District Attorney's Office said the kingpin's drug trafficking organization distributed very large quantity of cocaine in Baltimore and Woodbridge, Virginia.

However Kedrick filed for divorce from the deceased in April 9th 2019 and she filed hers 6days later.
