Wendy Williams Son Arrested for Punching His Father

Wendy Williams' son, Kevin Jr., was arrested by West Orange police in New Jersey and charged with assault. He punched his father over an argument regarding his demand for spousal support. According to TMZ, the incident reportedly happened in the parking lot of a store near their home in New Jersey. The two got into an argument because Kevin Snr. claimed that Wendy was brainwashing their son against him. Kevin Jnr. has been released after his father refused to pursue the matter legally.

Wendy Williams, 54, served divorce papers to Kevin Hunter, 46, after nearly 22years of marriage. They wedded on November 30, 1997 and share a son Kevin Jr., 18.

Prior to the divorce announcement, She went on an extended leave from her show 'The Wendy William Show' from January to March to recover from a fractured shoulder and her grave's disease, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid. She also revealed she was living in a sober house to recover from her past addiction to cocaine. During the period of her absence, there were rumours about Kevin alleged infidelities. She returned to her show and had this to say:

"I'm still very much with my husband... Marriage have ebbs and flows, marriage isn't easy. And don't ask me about mine until you see this gone." talking about her wedding ring, "And it ain't going anywhere not in this lifetime."

Unfortunately, the round cut diamond ring was missing shortly after reports began to circulate that her husband's mistress for years, Sharina Hudson, 33, had given birth to his daughter in a Philadelphia hospital in March.

Kevin Hunter had filed for spousal support from Wendy after she fired him from being the Executive producer of her show.
