Director John Singleton died Monday at the age of 51. The Oscar-nominated filmmaker had been hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering a major stroke on April 17. Earlier on Monday, there was a false report of his death. In the city of Seattle in the US, a crane fell at a construction site, killing the machine operators and crushing six cars. This happened on Saturday about 3.30pm on the busy street of Seattle that inhabits Amazon Companies and tech companies. The Islamic State group has admitted claims over the Sri Lanka Bombing that killed more than 359 people on Easter Day. Saudi Arabia on Tuesday beheaded 37 Saudi citizens, most of them minority Shiites, in a mass execution across the country. The reason for the execution was terrorism related issue. Amnesty International has confirmed the majority of the beheaded men as Shiites after "after sham trials" which accepted confession extracted through torture. This marked the highest execution by Saudi Arabia in a single day since 2016 when the kingdom executed 47 people on terrorism related crime. According to The Daily Independent, The Board of the African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a $15 million investment package to Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company (InfraCredit), to support infrastructure financing through the domestic debt capital markets in Nigeria. The investment package to InfraCredit is comprised of a subordinated loan of $10 million and a risk sharing facility of up to $5 million. This intervention will promote local currency infrastructure financing, and further development of the domestic capital market.   InfraCredit is a specialized infrastructure credit guarantee company, established to enhance local currency debt instruments – mainly bonds, to finance eligible infrastructure projects in Nigeria.
